Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Critical Access Hospital in Ashland, Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for an ASAP start. This assignment offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment while enjoying the natural beauty of Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands.

Assignment Details

Location : Ashland, WI

Length : 13 weeks

Shifts : Variable Days / Nights (6 : 00a-6 : 30p or 6 : 00p-6 : 30a), every other weekend

Role Overview

4-8 treatments per round

Adult patients primarily; peds and neonates stabilized for transfer

Assist with high-risk C-sections (PPV, Neo puff support)

Coverage areas : ER, SPCU, OB, Stress Lab, PFT Lab, EEG Lab

Procedures : Mechanical ventilation (Hamilton C1), NIV, ABGs, EKGs, Holter monitoring, ISTAT

Requirements

ACLS, BLS, NRP (AHA)

1+ year of recent RT experience (critical access or acute care preferred)

Mechanical ventilation & inhalation therapy proficiency

EPIC experience highly preferred

Must be comfortable working independently on nights

Equipment

Ventilators : Hamilton C1s and T1s

ResMed CPAP / BiPAP

EMR : Epic
