POLICE LANEG TASK FORCE OFFICER (TFO) – (Police Officer I / II)
(NOTE : The TFO position is funded through Federal grants, and is contingent upon annual grant renewal.)
Physical job location is FLEXIBLE within LANEG's designated assigned area.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Initiate, conduct, direct, and coordinate narcotics investigations within assigned area
- Conduct surveillance on suspected narcotic violators to obtain necessary information for search warrants, arrest warrants, background information, etc.
- Maintain a favorable liaison with Federal, state, county, and local law enforcement agencies to ensure cooperation during investigations
- Maintain a network of contacts to obtain background / intelligence information on drug violators
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent PLUS be a graduate from an authorized State basic Law Enforcement Training Academy (LETA) ORHigh school diploma or equivalent PLUS two (2) years' active-duty military service with an Honorable DischargeLICENSING / CERTIFICATION
