Job Responsibilities :
- Perform system commissioning using industry-standard configuration and commissioning tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical, electrical, and control system issues in HVAC equipment.
- Respond to routine warranty calls and service requests.
- Deliver high-quality customer service focused on identifying and resolving building inefficiencies.
- Act as a trusted advisor by offering timely solutions and outcomes during service interactions.
- Load software onto system-level controllers.
- Execute basic commissioning and diagnostics from system-level controllers to field devices (e.g., sensors, actuators), and complete associated documentation.
- Maintain open communication with internal teams and external partners regarding job progress and any emerging issues.
- Use basic electronic test equipment to calibrate systems.
- Complete administrative duties such as time sheets, expense reports, and on-site records.
- Document system changes and provide input for final as-built documentation.
- Communicate with site contacts upon arrival and prior to departure.
- Follow all safety procedures and participate in required safety training, with a strong commitment to personal and team safety.
- Provide system performance recommendations, including identifying and quoting upsell opportunities.
Required Qualifications :
Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or related field; or a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.Working knowledge of HVAC control systems, facility management systems, site prep, and installation / service of peripheral equipment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to represent the organization professionally.Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Basic leadership abilities to assist and guide other team members on non-complex building automation tasks.Proficiency in PC-based tools and the ability to work with HVAC programming software.Benefits :
