Assistant or Associate Professor in Management Information Systems (MIS) and Business Analytics (BA)

The Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics (ISBA) in the Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University welcomes applications for an assistant or associate, tenure / tenured position in Management Information Systems (MIS) and Business Analytics (BA) with an expected starting date in August 2026.

Primary responsibilities include research and teaching in information systems with an emphasis in artificial intelligence at the undergraduate, Master's, and Ph.D. levels. The successful applicant will be expected to develop and maintain an outstanding MIS and BA research program in information systems and artificial intelligence.

Required Minimum Qualifications

• Ph.D. (or expected completion before August 2026) in information systems, business analytics, computer science, data science, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to produce scholarly research on AI, with potential for publication in the department's top journals.
• Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduates.
• Candidates at the associate level need to have a record that meets the standards for tenure at Iowa State University.
• Must meet the college's standards to be Scholarly Academic Qualified under AACSB Accreditation standards.
