job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMust be a licensed massage therapist in the state of Colorado with a minimum of 500 hours of massage education from an accredited massage therapy school Must have a high school diploma Minimum 2 years of previous Spa or clinical experience is preferred Must be able to pass a criminal history check Must be available to work one on-call shift per month and attend trainings Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Must maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance Must be able to work weekend and holiday shifts and maintain a flexible working schedule Must be trustworthy and able to work under minimal supervision Must be able to perform the physical duties that the job requires Must be able to stand for full length of shift Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, crawling Exclusive golf playing and practice privileges Complimentary use of the Sonnenalp Club fitness center Employee discounts on retail and food & beverage Provided uniform Meals during your shift Access to our Employee Assistance Program for support and resources It is the responsibility of every employee to contribute to a positive work environment through cooperative and professional interactions with co-workers, guests and vendors . The Sonnenalp Club is looking for an On-Call Massage Therapist to join our Fitness team!
Wage : Commission ($50 for 50 min massage, $70 for 80 min massage)
Schedule : On-call shifts available 7 days a week, between 9 am-8 pm
Primary Purpose of Position
Provide Club members with a relaxing experience by performing therapeutic massage and body treatment techniques.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform professional spa massage and body treatments compliant with the Sonnenalp Club standards of practice and protocols
- Uphold the standards of hygiene and sanitation as directed by law and the Fitness policies and procedures
- Maintain a constructive attitude and effectively work in a team environment
- Participate in support training and staff meetings
- Assist in Fitness operations as requested by management
- Correctly clean and re-stock treatment rooms
- Respond to guest special requests and contraindications
- Hold and maintain a current policy of massage therapy liability insurance
