RHIA / RHIT Associate College Instructor

Full-time, on‑site role for an RHIA / RHIT with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Health Information Management or related field, located in Plainfield, NJ.

Responsibilities : delivering engaging lectures, developing and updating course materials, assessing student performance, advising students, contributing to curriculum development, participating in college and community service, attending departmental meetings, staying current with industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications

• RHIA / RHIT certification
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Health Information Management or related field
• Experience in teaching, curriculum development, and academic assessment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage and inspire students in a classroom setting
• Proficiency in using educational technology and software
• Commitment to maintaining current knowledge in the field
• Experience in a community college setting is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators
