Operations Manager
We're seeking a proactive and strategic Operations Manager to lead and optimize daily business operations. This role involves working closely with ownership to drive continuous improvement through technology, policy development, and process efficiency. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills and a passion for operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with ownership to implement new technologies and process improvements
- Help shape company policies that enhance productivity and workplace culture
- Oversee equipment fleet operations, including maintenance, tracking, and utilization
- Manage inventory systems, including audits, forecasting, and procurement
- Handle purchase orders and maintain accurate records
- Source and evaluate vendors for quality, cost, and reliability
- Lead vendor negotiations and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Supervise a team of 35 employees, providing mentorship and performance feedback
- Foster a collaborative, accountable team environment
- Identify and implement operational improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and internal policies
Required Skills & Experience
Proven background in operations, logistics, or equipment managementStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational and problem-solving abilitiesExperience in vendor management and contract negotiationProficiency with technology tools and systemsFamiliarity with purchase orders and inventory controlPreferred Qualifications
