Medical Assistant (Radiation Oncology) - Los Gatos, CA

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Location : Los Gatos, CA

Opportunity Overview :

Medix is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant (MA) to support our brand-new Radiation Oncology team in Los Gatos, CA . This vital role assists radiation oncologists, nurses, and radiation therapists in delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centered care in a dynamic oncology setting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Room patients and record vital signs (temperature, BP, pulse, weight, SpO₂)
• Assist with patient histories, medication lists, and nursing assessments
• Prepare and maintain exam / treatment rooms, ensuring infection control standards
• Schedule and coordinate labs, imaging, and follow-up appointments
• Obtain and upload outside medical records and imaging into the EHR
• Support patient education as directed by nurses or providers
• Assist during exams, simulations, or procedures
• Provide front desk support (check-in, insurance verification, calls)
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and uphold a culture of compassionate care
• Perform additional duties as needed
