We are hiring a compassionate Medical Director to oversee the adult inpatient psychiatric facility in Southwestern Illinois. The ideal candidate will have experience working with addiction issues, mood disorders as well as interest or experience in forensic psychiatry. The Medical Director will oversee the administrative day to day functions as well as seeing patients as needed. This position is 90% admministrative and will provide support to the psychiatrists, NPPMH's, RN's and other facility staff memebers. This lucrative opportunity requires an individual who has excellent communication skills, who can take initiative and is able to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee day -to- day operations
• Support staff as needed and required
• Provide hiring input and interviews potential candidiates.
• Reviews and implemets policies and procedures as needed and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
