Stationary Engineer

Location : Orion Township, MI

What's the Job?

  • Operate and monitor hydronic boiler and chiller systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and rebuilds on pumps, motors, valves, and other mechanical equipment
  • Conduct vibration analysis and align rotating machinery for efficiency and longevity
  • Maintain and repair cooling towers and wastewater treatment systems, ensuring environmental compliance
  • Perform welding, pipefitting, and fabrication tasks to support system maintenance and upgrades

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED; technical or trade school certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience operating hydronic boilers and chillers
  • Valid boiler operator license and EPA 608 Universal Certification
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in pump and motor repair / rebuild
  • Proficiency in welding, pipefitting, and mechanical alignment techniques
