Charleston Nursing Job Details Location : Charleston, SC 29425 Assignment Type : Travel Operating Room RN Healthcare Setting : Main Operating Room, Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility Start Date : November 10, 2025 End Date : February 9, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift Schedule : 3x12-hour day shifts (06 : 30 - 19 : 00), 36 hours / week Estimated Weekly Salary : $1530 - $1640 On-Call Requirement : Up to 4 call shifts every 4 weeks Weekend Requirement : Up to one weekend shift every 4 weeks Floating : May float within scope to support facility needs Charting System : EPIC Scrub Color : Provided Parking : Garage parking available (one-time registration fee) Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 1 year recent Operating Room RN experience (2 years preferred) Active South Carolina or Multi-State / Compact RN license (required prior to start) BLS certification required Radiation badge (provided) Level I Trauma Center experience preferred Scrub experience strongly preferred Ability to work scheduled on-call and weekend shifts Willingness to float within nursing scope Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered) OR RN Responsibilities Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to surgical patients in a high-acuity operating room Circulate and scrub for diverse surgical specialties : trauma, transplant, orthopedic, neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes Document patient care accurately using EPIC charting system Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to emergencies Float to similar units as needed to support patient care across the hospital Uphold the highest standards of nursing practice in a Magnet-designated healthcare environment Discover the best of Charleston—historic downtown, beautiful beaches, and a vibrant culinary scene—while growing your nursing career in a supportive and innovative healthcare setting.
