An exciting opportunity for a Senior Research Scientist to play a key role in advancing cell and gene therapy manufacturing within a leading global life sciences organization. This position involves overseeing complex biotechnological processes, supporting innovative therapeutic projects, and contributing to process improvements across multiple manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee critical biotechnological manufacturing operations, including cell growth, harvest, vial filling, and inspection.
- Act as a subject matter expert in specialized areas such as Cell Growth or Drug Product Filling.
- Collaborate with internal and external experts to implement and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Represent manufacturing in technical and project meetings during campaign preparation.
- Develop and deliver training on new processes, batch records, and quality systems.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Support site safety initiatives and ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Provide guidance on equipment and material requirements for production execution.
