About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)

Experience : 2 years minimum

License : Valid State License required

Certifications : ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS, TNCC preferred

Must-Have :

• Meditech experience required
• Ability to float to various departments as needed

Description :

This position requires a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.

Candidates must have experience with EMR systems, specifically Meditech.

Floating is required, with a focus on Med-Surg and Emergency Department inpatient holds.

In the Progressive Care Unit, nurses will manage post-operative cardiac patients and inpatients from the ED and ICU.

Nurses should be prepared to care for Med-Surg / Tele patients.

Every other weekend is required, which may shift to every third weekend depending on staffing needs.

All time off requests must be submitted at the time of application.

Previous employees are not eligible for rehire.

The unit comprises 23 beds and focuses on progressive care.

Interdisciplinary support services are available, including therapy and social services.

Patients will typically be adults and geriatrics with various medical diagnoses.

This role requires the management of cardiac telemetry and several nursing skills.
