Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the supervision of the Director / Supervisor, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as ordered by a physician. Your responsibilities will include administering medical gases and aerosol therapy, obtaining and analyzing blood specimens, conducting patient tests, operating respiratory and cardiopulmonary equipment, assisting in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, providing patient education, and ensuring accurate documentation. You will also maintain equipment cleanliness and uphold safety and infection control protocols. Please note that this role does not involve providing mechanical ventilation or maintaining artificial airways until you have successfully graduated from your Respiratory Therapy program. You will provide care across all age groups, from birth to geriatric patients.

Qualifications :

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 6 months of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • (NBRC-CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist.
  • (CRT-State) Certified Respiratory Therapist, or (RRT / RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist / Practitioner, or an Associate / Bachelor's Degree.
