About the Role
Procurement Partners is seeking a proven VP of Sales with an exceptional track record of success to help lead the company through its next phase of growth. This leader will partner closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and the senior leadership team in developing and executing Procurement Partner’s sales strategy.
The ideal candidate will be a transformational sales leader who has experience assessing talent, systems, and processes to drive growth, productivity, and predictability. This leader will be a low-ego, disciplined, and metrics-driven leader who has a track record of consistently achieving and beating quota.
This VP of Sales will be responsible for elevating and setting vision for the sales function and partnering with other functional leaders in the Commercial Organization (Supplier and Channel Partnerships) and Marketing. The immediate focus for the role will be to build, optimize, and develop an operationally sound and predictable sales engine across multiple products and markets to drive growth.
What You'll Do
- Execute sales strategy for achieving Procurement Partners’ financial objectives including penetration of current markets and expansion to additional markets
- Deliver ARR software bookings growth of 30%+ YoY
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team; consistently measure teams to targets and address signs of slipping performance early
- Lead strategy and execution for sales across all customer segments including new logo + upsell / cross sell
- Manage sales team to exceed self gen pipeline targets and contribute to full GTM pipeline goals
- Structure optimal process for net new customer acquisition and growth across the existing base
- Refine KPIs required to manage a high-performance team, with an emphasis on critical input metrics associated with success
- Drive common usage of performance and reporting dashboards (based on set goals) and establish a process / cadence for regular reporting on sales performance and forecasting
- Transform the GTM strategy through right to win, optimizing territories, comp, and enablement
- Establish and maintain a robust coaching and professional development program with a strong career pathing framework to build and drive a high-performing sales team
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends
- Lead by example, setting a high bar for performance and excellence
- Partner with Marketing, Channel, and Supplier teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with company strategy, positioning, and messaging
