Arizona Licensed Trauma Registrar

A company is looking for a Trauma Registrar to manage clinical data for trauma patients.

Key Responsibilities

Collect and abstract clinical data from various sources for trauma patients

Code injuries and procedures using ICD and other scoring tools to ensure compliance with standards

Maintain the Trauma Registry database and produce reports for accreditation and quality improvement

Required Qualifications

Education equivalent to a Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT) or certified coder, with advanced training in medical terminology and anatomy

Two or more years of experience in coding, abstracting, and data management

Completion of ATS trauma registrar course and AIS training within one year of hire

Exceptional data entry and management skills with a high degree of accuracy

Familiarity with electronic medical records and trauma registry software
