Supervisor, Mechanic Shop

Overview

At Manheim (a Cox Automotive company), we give a variety of vehicles a second life. We\'re looking for a Supervisor, Reconditioning Service to help keep the process as well-oiled as the vehicles we restore. In this role, you\'ll assist the shop manager in overseeing daily operations.

What You\'ll Do

• Supervising the inspection of vehicles.
• Managing the workflow and activities of the shop employees to ensure that all vehicles are completed in a timely manner.
• Ensuring employees have the proper equipment and are properly trained.
• Communicating and resolving reconditioning goals, results, and problems with the operations manager.
• Assisting the manager in monitoring and evaluating employee job performance and conducting performance appraisals.
• Using management tools to track production and post charges.
• Leading by example and ensuring that all employees are treated with respect.
• Monitoring and controlling the use of supplies, materials, and equipment for the recon shop.
• Enforcing all company policies and procedures related to employee and customer conduct.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range : $59,600.00 - $89,400.00 per year. The base salary may vary within this range based on location and the candidate\'s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation including an incentive program. Benefits include flexible vacation, company holidays, and wellness time; eligibility for healthcare plans from day 1; and other standard benefits described by Cox Automotive.
