Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining a sterile environment. This position requires proficiency in assisting with various surgical tasks, including managing medical records and adhering to infection control protocols. Responsibilities Assist the surgeon during procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies. Prepare the operating room by ensuring all equipment is sterile and ready for use. Monitor and record vital signs of patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation related to surgical procedures. Implement aseptic techniques to prevent infection during surgeries. Collaborate with dental receptionists to schedule surgeries and manage patient flow. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols throughout the surgical process. Requirements Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment with kindness and efficiency. Previous experience in a similar assisting role is preferred. Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and basic medical terminology. Familiarity with X-Ray procedures. Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control measures. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate medical records.
