Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while carrying a firearm as required by the post profile.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report activities and / or incidents to appropriate personnel and compile necessary documentation.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance to visitors, customers, and / or staff members as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when required by the situation at the retail location.
  • Follow all Allied Universal protocols and procedures related to armed patrol operations and conduct duties in accordance with site-specific requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have an active Texas Armed Security Officer's License
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Hold a Level III armed certification if required by state law.
  • Possessing a CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
