Position Summary

Are you comfortable with meeting deadlines? Are you interested in gaininginsight into the broadcasting and production process, while working as part ofa team committed to the mission of public media? If so, we invite you toexplore opportunities with the NMPBS Traditional Marketing team. NMPBS is looking for an outgoing, detailed-oriented student to help editon-air short form video content. Production and proofing of navigational on-air promotional elements. Time / date tagging and output of promotional spots. Assisting with NMPBS brand visuals, especially through graphic design. Delivery of video content to Broadcast Operations for air. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following skills :

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly :

Premiere Pro

Photoshop

After Effects (basic knowledge)

Experience in graphic design for video and exportingvarious video formats.

Self-starter and motivated team player.

Detail-oriented with solid grammatical and proofingskills.

Basic knowledge of PBS is desired.

Weekly availability during regular business hours (8a-5p)
