About The Position

Job Title : Cardiovascular Technician

Profession : Cardiovascular Technician

Specialty : Cardiovascular Technician

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 07 : 00 AM - 05 : 30 PM

Hours per Shift : 10.5 hours

Experience : Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab preferred

License : ARRT-R or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required

Certifications : BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current, ACLS required within 30 days of hire

Must-Have : ARRT or RCIS certification is mandatory

Description : On-call is required.

Must have catheterization experience.

Under the general direction of the physician, the technician will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data as related to diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.

Ensure the procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.

Monitor the par level of all instruments and supplies.

Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.

Assist in the training of new staff.

Contribute to all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Proficient computer skills are required.
