About The Position

We are seeking a qualified Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of surgeons, ensuring a safe, sterile, and efficient environment. Candidates must meet one of the outlined certification and experience pathways required to practice surgical technology in Oregon.

Job Requirements

Requirements (Candidate must meet one of the following options) :

Option 1 :

Successfully completed a surgical technologist training program in the U.S. Armed Forces or U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps

Completed 16 hours of continuing education every two (2) years relevant to surgical technology

Option 2 :

Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program (CAAHEP or ABHES)

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA, or completion of the accredited program within the past 12 months

Option 3 :

Practiced surgical technology between January 1, 2014 – January 1, 2017 for at least two (2) years in a hospital, ambulatory surgical center, or federal government setting

Completed 16 hours of continuing education every two (2) years relevant to surgical technology

Additional Requirements :

Current documentation of certification to practice surgical technology in Oregon

BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA or equivalent)

Experience or training in computer applications required
