Records Specialist
Full-time, 40 hour per week Records Specialist for Green County Sheriff's Office. Hours are Monday-Friday.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform in an efficient and accurate manner, general clerical responsibilities such as typing, transcribing, reading and reviewing reports, processing various legal documents, maintaining a filing system, answering the telephone, reading and interpreting maps, and typing accident reports.
- Perform general clerical duties, and general office operations.
- Possess knowledge of general terms and phrases used in legal procedures and documents relating to law enforcement.
- Possess the ability to prioritize work under stressful situations involving deadlines and time limits.
- Possess a working knowledge of modern office equipment.
- Ability to review camera and audio recordings and make necessary redactions for re

Qualifications
Mandatory requirements include :
U.S. CitizenAt least 18 years of age.High school diploma supplemented by office experience, or any combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Have the ability to be TIME system certified Additional required skills :Possess skills in verbal and written communicationAbility to transcribe from dictationKnowledge of filing systems and office equipment usage.Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with departmentGeneral knowledge of grammatical efficiency.Knowledge of appropriate safeguard for confidentiality of information.Other
