Patient Registration Representative - Butler Wound Center
Responsible for registering all patient types using established policy and procedures of the facility and communicate effectively with the patient / family, peers and all members of the health care team. Obtains accurate demographic information from patients and / or family members, verifies all proper insurance information, secure managed care referrals, obtain appropriate signatures on all forms, and collects co-pays at the time of service. Understands third party regulations, referrals, authorizations, Advance Beneficiary Notice, and Point of Service collections.
