Duties : 1. Must be prompt and ready to work at scheduled time each morning. 2. Must perform pre trip inspection on vehicle. Checking tires, fluids, belts and general truck appearance. 3. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and up to 120 lbs. Loading and Unloading parts from delivery vehicle. Job requires constant lifting, twisting and bending. 4. Note any damage to part(s) at time of loading or delivery and note such damage to paperwork. 5. Responsible for organizing the delivery route each run, in the most efficient way, working with counterman to insure prompt delivery. Sensitive to customer Next day delivery parts. 6. Confirm parts on invoice match actual parts – verify -000, -001 as example. 7. Responsible for the safe delivery of customer parts, arranging in delivery van to eliminate damage in transport. 8. Accept any return parts or cores from customer and complete a return ticket. Return parts to front counter with ticket properly completed. Return cores to core area with completed ticket. 9. In no situation do we deliver or pick up material or items without documentation signed. 10. Responsible for overall cleaning of vehicle, both inside and out as needed to provide clean company appearance to customers. 11. Responsible for bringing to manager and service managers attention, any mechanical issues, as well as preventive maintenance such as oil changes. Once a week report current mileage on FMI Vehicle board outside service counter area in bay #1. 12. Assist in bringing to managers attention competitors in marketplace and customer accounts. 13. Assist part department in stocking of product when needed.
