Vice President / General Manager - Technical Solutions & Distribution

Overview

We’re leading a confidential executive search for a seasoned Vice President / General Manager to take full ownership of a business unit focused on technical solutions, engineered products, and value-added services. This is a rare opportunity to lead within a performance-driven environment with strong brand equity and deep customer relationships across the Northeast.

As the senior-most leader of the business, you’ll oversee all commercial, operational, and strategic functions while managing a long-tenured team across multiple locations. You’ll have full P&L responsibility, direct visibility to the CEO, and the autonomy to shape the next chapter of a well-established organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across sales, operations, and support functions
• Own and drive full P&L performance across multi-site operations
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies across diverse customer channels
• Strengthen partnerships with key OEMs, suppliers, and national accounts
• Drive operational improvement, team development, and long-term succession planning
• Champion a strong, respectful culture focused on quality, service, and stability
