Principal Data Scientist

A company is looking for a Principal Data Scientist to join their Rentals Machine Learning team.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze model-driven listing performance

Design and implement measurement techniques to enhance marketplace value delivery insights

Lead discussions with business partners to evaluate trade-offs and drive decision-making

Required Qualifications

Ph.D or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as science, engineering, or statistics

8+ years of experience in quantitative data analysis and experimentation

Experience modeling two-sided marketplace dynamics like inventory optimization and supply / demand prediction

Strong understanding of statistical concepts and A / B testing methodologies

Proficiency in SQL and Python, along with experience in data visualization tools
