IT Project Coordinator – Infrastructure & Facilities
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Coordinator to drive technology integration within large-scale infrastructure and facilities projects . This position plays a key role in bridging IT operations and facilities management , ensuring that technology systems are delivered smoothly within construction, renovation, and facility upgrade initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
IT & Facilities Integration
Coordinate technology-related deliverables across multiple facilities projects at once.
Build and maintain detailed project schedules and plans focused on IT infrastructure alignment.
Incorporate IT requirements into overall facilities timelines, budgets, and milestones.
Stakeholder Communication & Alignment
Act as the central liaison between IT, facilities management, and third-party vendors.
Translate technical needs into actionable requirements for architects, contractors, and facilities teams.
Ensure consistent communication between technology teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Project Execution & Vendor Oversight
Manage procurement of IT hardware, software, and services.
Oversee vendor coordination and technology installation activities.
Verify all IT-related work meets defined scope, budget, and schedule commitments.
Monitoring & Reporting
Track milestones and progress across concurrent facilities initiatives.
Deliver regular project updates and reports to leadership and stakeholders.
Maintain documentation of requirements, specifications, and project outcomes for future projects.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Project Management, or a related discipline.
3–5 years of experience managing IT project coordination and / or facilities technology integration.
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, telecommunications, and facility-based technology systems.
Background in projects involving construction, renovation, or facility IT deployments.
Skilled with project management platforms (MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Experience
PMP certification (or comparable project management credential).
Hands-on involvement with data center builds or enterprise-level network deployments.
Familiarity with building codes and compliance related to IT systems.
Procurement and vendor management experience.
Previous collaboration with architects and construction contractors.
Work Environment
Contract opportunity with extension potential depending on project load.
Combination of remote work and on-site support at projects located in Scottsdale, AZ and North Carolina .
Travel required for site visits, contractor coordination, and stakeholder meetings.
Dynamic environment managing several projects simultaneously, requiring strong organizational ability.
