Expected salary range of $123,300 to $137,000, varies based on experience, along with the comprehensive benefits package.

Primary Purpose Of Position

This position will be supporting the Generation Applications Operations. Architecture Management defines the technology building blocks of the enterprise, their inter-relationships, and the guiding principles for their design and evolution. These principles drive roadmaps to ensure the right mix of supported technology services to achieve business value. The Sr. IT Architect provides technical expertise to align IT solutions with architectural standards within the enterprise governance process. The role ensures architecture processes are followed for IT, Innovation and Business-initiated projects, supports development of IT standards, participates in pilots, and weighs technical advantages and risks to meet business needs. It will provide guidance to project managers and stakeholders on IT system solutions and improvements, and contribute to documentation and tools for operational transition and turnover for cloud architectures, designs, and services being standardized and deployed. The role supports sustainable patterns for cloud computing and application hosting architectures in enterprise IT project delivery, and adapts for special projects when required. Work closely with technology vendors as needed.

Primary Duties And Accountabilities

• Work within a team environment to conduct the architecture governance program for technology projects across the Constellation Energy Generation organization, determining alignment with technical standards and other business requirements
• Assist the IT Architecture and Engineering community in planning the introduction of new technologies, identifying the best technology choices, and developing white papers and presentations to explain recommendations
• Build and maintain knowledge of new technologies and analyze their use for business and IT clients
• Participate and facilitate peer groups around specific technology areas
• Maintain and enhance engagement with business and IT partners
