About The Position

Interventional Cardiology in New Mexico - Credentialing in 30 Days

An opportunity for a locum tenens Interventional Cardiologist is now available in New Mexico. This ongoing assignment offers a manageable patient census and expedited credentialing to help you start quickly. Dates are still available starting this winter.

Practice Setting

  • Inpatient hospital coverage
  • Adult patient population (18+)
  • Work alongside a dedicated support staff
  • Interim coverage for a facility while they recruit

    • Schedule

  • Weekday hospital rounding and coverage
  • Predictable call schedule
  • Only one weekend of 24-hour call required per month
  • Potential for some weekday call

    • Procedures and Cases

  • STEMI coverage
  • General cardiology cases
  • Group call responsibilities

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
  • Active New Mexico medical license
  • Must hold active ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Minimum of 12 months experience
