Compensation :

  • The pay for this position is $40.00 – $45.00 per hour (experience will be considered)
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Highlights :

  • This position is a 6-month contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • The required availability for this position is :

    • Role 1 : Rotating Days ; 13-hour shifts (6 : 30 AM – 7 : 30 PM)

    Role 2 : Rotating Nights ; 13-hour shifts (6 : 30 PM – 7 : 30 AM) Night shift differential applies

    Responsibilities :

  • Lead day-to-day activities of the manufacturing unit by coaching associates on safety, quality, production, cost, and policy adherence
  • Spend a minimum of 75% of time on the production floor leading and supporting associates
  • Promptly address any safety issues or incidents
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives and BD Excellence programs
  • Provide regular, timely, and specific feedback to associates, creating a learning environment and fostering accountability
  • Collaborate with Production Planning to establish and monitor production schedules
  • Track and communicate production metrics to ensure department goals are being met
  • Support staffing and training plans within the department
  • Ensure compliance with BD quality systems, policies, and regulatory standards
  • Lead and develop associates to build a high-performing production team
  • Other duties as assigned to support business needs

  • Ability to lead and engage associates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to read, write, and converse in English
  • Regular, punctual attendance is required
  • Willing and able to uphold BD Values

    • Education :

  • Required : High School Diploma
