Overview

Site Coordinator School Based Mentoring role at Capital CFO+ (Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie, Niagara, and the Southern Tier). This position offers the opportunity to work with children, families, volunteers, and partners in the community. The program operates during after-school hours, with mentors and mentees participating in activities to develop mentoring relationships and enhance educational and life skills. The Site Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising these activities and acts as an ambassador between the organization and the partner districts, spending a significant portion of the workday in schools.

Responsibilities

  • Create and support mentoring relationships between high school students and their younger peers in local school districts.
  • Provide case management services to children and their families when necessary.
  • Plan, implement, and supervise after-school activities to develop mentoring relationships and life skills.
  • Serve as an ambassador between the organization and partner districts and spend substantial time in schools.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required;
  • Experience working with children;
  • Commitment to advancing the lives of children and young adults;
  • Valid Driver's License and Personal Transportation.

  • Pay : $17.50 - $19.75 per hour
  • Benefits : Mileage Reimbursement, Paid Time Off (PTO)

    • Work Location : Hybrid remote in Buffalo, NY 14207. Flexible work-from-home options available.
