Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel Polysomnographer for a travel job in Salida, Colorado.

Work where others vacation, in beautiful Salida, CO

Experience with NOX software helpful. Two bed sleep lab.

Sleep Tech Part Time - 36 hour per week : 6pm to 6 : 30 am. Wednesday - Friday nights. Will include some holidays. Must be flexible to work 4th night if needed.

Does include occasional weekends in order to cover patient volume. May include a fourth night to cover vacations, call off for illness. Some holidays included. Rotating weekends, maybe required.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES :

Gather and Analyze Patient Information

Collect, analyze and integrate patient information in order to identify and meet the patient-specific needs (Physical / mental limitations, current emotional / physiological status regarding the testing procedure, pertinent medical / social history), and to determine final testing parameters / procedures in conjunction with the ordering physician or clinical director and laboratory protocols.

Complete and verify documentation.

Explain pre-testing, testing, and post-testing procedures to the patient.

Testing Preparation Procedures

Prepare and calibrate equipment required for testing to determine proper functioning and make adjustments if necessary.

Apply electrodes and sensors according to accepted published standards.

Perform appropriate physiologic calibrations to ensure proper signals and make adjustments if necessary.

Perform positive airway pressure (PAP) mask fitting.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE

Successful completion of a polysomnography program associated with a state licensed and / or a nationally accredited educational facility or completion of an AASM A-STEP program and equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technician.
