Orthopedics Physician

Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthopedic Surgeon for a Locum to Perm position. This role spans from April 2025 to July 2025, with an opportunity to transition to a permanent placement. The position also includes call coverage responsibilities.

JOB DETAILS :

Practice Setting : Hospital coverage with ambulatory follow-up as needed

Schedule : 24-hr call coverage when on service at a Level I trauma center

Call Schedule : Call coverage when on service

Call Ratio : 1 : 4 call rotation for department

Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day HOSPITAL : 3-4

Average Number of Patients Per Day OFFICE / CLINIC : n / a

Trauma Level / Designation : Level I

Annual ER Volume : 112,000

Documentation System / EMR : EPIC

Number of Operating Rooms : 20

Number of Orthopedic Surgeons in Practice : 14

Description of OR Staff : standard OR support to include APP first assist

Do You Require Fellowship Training for Pediatric Cases : No

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified (Orthopedics) - Required
• Trauma Fellowship - Highly Preferred
• MI License (willing to accept those who will obtain license) - Required, no exceptions
• List out specific availability in submission, dates above plus additional availability - Required
• Clean malpractice and background - Required, no exceptions
• COVID Vaccine - Required, note at time of name clear
• DEA - Verbal Confirmation Required at Name Clear
