Summary
Responsible for clerical duties within the rehabilitation department to support smooth and organized office operations including; answering phones, patient check-in, ordering / maintaining office supplies, record keeping, and data entry / maintenance. These individuals will also be responsible for assisting the rehab staff in preparation of patients and / or the environment of care for therapy sessions. This individual, under the supervision of a licensed therapist, can also assist in safe patient handling. They will also be expected to help maintain departmental cleanliness, therapeutic supply inventory and other duties as assigned by the licensed therapy staff and / or next level manager.

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Examples : Push / pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patients weight. Frequent to continuous standing / walking. Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift.
