Facility : Hospital Operating Room (30 ORs)

Assignment Type : Travel healthcare contract

Start Date : October 20, 2025

End Date : January 19, 2026

Duration : 13-week travel assignment

Shift : 6 : 30 AM – 3 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday (No call, no weekends)

Hours per Week : 40

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1580 - $1700

Documentation System : Epic EMR

Dress Code : Seal Blue Scrubs (Home Laundered)

Qualifications for OR Tech – First Assist Jobs

Minimum 1 year experience as an Operating Room Technician (OR Tech) with First Assist experience

Certified First Assist (CFA) credential required

Level I Trauma Center experience, including trauma, neuro / spine, and advanced orthopedics

Ability to scrub all surgical service lines, including trauma cases

AST (Association of Surgical Technologists) certification preferred

Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records (EMR)

Operating Room Technician Responsibilities

Assist surgeons as a First Assist during operative and invasive procedures

Scrub and circulate for trauma, neuro / spine, and orthopedic surgeries

Prepare, maintain, and ensure readiness of operating room equipment and supplies

Support patient safety and collaborate with the surgical team throughout procedures

Work closely with OR Registered Nurses, Surgical Techs, Anesthesia Techs, and other healthcare professionals

Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR
