Your Role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other documents under senior guidance.
  • Assist in case preparation for hearings, trials, mediations, and depositions.
  • Maintain client communication, providing updates and addressing concerns.
  • Manage discovery processes, including document reviews and responses.
  • Represent clients in court for routine motions and hearings, often with oversight.
  • Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and risks, ensuring compliance.
  • Collaborate with team members to execute strategies and meet objectives.
  • Meet billable hour targets efficiently.
  • Attend CLEs and stay updated on legal trends.
  • Contribute to firm initiatives, demonstrating commitment to firm goals.
  • Qualifications

  • 1-10 years of legal experience, preferably in civil litigation.
  • Strong understanding of relevant laws, especially automotive liability.
  • JD from an accredited school; admitted to practice in FL.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Discretion, strong work ethic, and team spirit.
