Role Summary This is a unique opportunity for a marketing leader who is both strategic and execution-focused.

The role is designed for someone who can operate independently, drive results, and is comfortable with ambiguity and change .

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping our marketing direction, building foundational programs, and representing our brand externally.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and refine the overall marketing strategy to align with company growth objectives.

Advise on positioning, messaging, and brand development in a competitive, digital-first landscape.

Identify and prioritize marketing initiatives that deliver measurable business impact.

Collaborate with leadership to define KPIs and success metrics for all marketing activities.

Execution & Hands-On Involvement Lead the implementation of digital marketing campaigns across channels such as LinkedIn, Google, Meta, and video platforms.

Hands on experience needed.

Personally manage or directly contribute to content creation, campaign setup, and marketing automation.

Oversee and manage website projects, including audits, content calendar development, and coordination with external vendors.

Create and execute account-based marketing strategies and autonomous sales funnels that leverage modern tools and analytics.

Review and optimize ad strategies, staying ahead of trends like AI-driven summaries and evolving digital ad platforms.

External Representation Serve as a visible, articulate spokesperson for the company at events, webinars, and in client-facing situations.

Build and nurture relationships with industry influencers, partners, and key stakeholders.

Team Collaboration & Growth Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, product, executive team) to ensure alignment and integration of marketing efforts.

Mentor and guide junior marketing staff or contractors as needed.

Lay the groundwork for building a scalable marketing organization as the company grows.

Required Qualifications 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing leadership roles (CMO, VP, Senior Director), ideally within startups or high-growth companies.

Demonstrated ability to both set strategy and execute hands-on marketing tasks.

Expertise in digital marketing, including social media, content marketing, paid advertising, and marketing automation.

Experience with account-based marketing, campaign management, and sales funnel optimization.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and public speaking abilities.

Creative, forward-thinking mindset with a strong grasp of current and emerging marketing technologies.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment.

Preference for candidates based in Central or Eastern time zones; ability to work core business hours is essential.

Preferred Attributes Prior experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology sectors.

Background in agency environments, with a desire to transition to an in-house leadership role is a plus.

Track record of building marketing functions from the ground up.
