Lead Product Designer

What’s The Role?

As a lead product designer, you will be working as part of a cross-functional team to imagine, articulate, craft, document, and deliver the core part of the product used by business users and data analysts. You’ll work on high-impact product areas like data search, live dashboards, AI assistants, and personalized homepages. With a product and business strategy that uniquely prioritizes and values the user experience, ThoughtSpot relies on a design-centric approach that puts the quality, originality, and craft of design at the forefront.

As a member of our design team, you will work on projects that utilize AI-driven business insights delivered to customers across different experiences like search, conversational interfaces, emails, and others. You will work within a clear creative hierarchy and can utilize the elements contained in our robust and comprehensive UX framework of components, widgets, and surfaces, freeing your creative and intellectual efforts to focus on delivering an outstanding user experience.

What You’ll Do

• Engage in a disciplined and repeatable design process to envision and execute thoughtful experiences that solve specific business problems.
• Work closely with PM and engineering counterparts to drive alignment and influence outcomes.
• Simplify complex problems and drive clarity by articulating designs using appropriate tools : low-fidelity deliverables, prototypes, mockups, etc.
• Collaborate with other designers and content strategists to craft original design solutions.
• Present, lead conversations, and drive issues to closure during weekly design reviews with creative heads.
• Write and deliver detailed design specs.
