LPN (IDD Services)

Job Overview - LPN (IDD Services) : Compensation : $35 - $38 / hour Location : Morris County, NJ Schedule : Weekend and Evening Shifts Available (16-32 hours / week) Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as an LPN in IDD Services with our client in Morris County, NJ. This flexible part-time or full-time role involves delivering direct nursing care, administering medications, completing behavioral and medical documentation, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Ideal for Licensed Practical Nurses with experience in health services, medication protocols, and state-compliant care for individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities as the LPN (IDD Services) :

• Provide Direct Nursing Care : Administer medications, support health needs, and maintain accurate MAR documentation.
• Assist with Daily Living : Help individuals with hygiene, meals, mobility, and personal care routines.
• Support Medical Oversight : Attend appointments and follow treatment, diet, and exercise plans.
• Ensure Safety & Compliance : Maintain a safe environment and complete required incident and behavioral documentation.
• Collaborate & Train : Work with the IDT and assist in training support staff on health-related procedures. Qualifications for the LPN (IDD Services) :
• Education : Graduate of an accredited Nursing program with current LPN certification.
• Licensure : Active New Jersey LPN license required.
• Experience : Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and / or developmental disabilities (I / DD).
• Technical Skills : Basic computer literacy required, with knowledge of Therap or similar EHR platforms preferred.
• Skills & Attributes : Demonstrates compassion, reliability, and professionalism, with strong communication, multitasking, and documentation skills in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
