Your specific responsibilities include coordinating with supervisor in the activities of the Department of Correction's contract of maintenance activities and / or In-House Field Crews, preparing accurate daily crew reports, work needs surveys to identify deficiencies, reviewing work order request, coordinating with other crews and / or resources as directed and scheduling crews to complete work. You will also inspect work of inmate crews and / or In-House Field Crews to ensure that priority, production, quality, efficiency, and customer service are properly addressed and accounted for.
The successful candidate will have the following required knowledge, skills, and abilities : knowledge of procedures, techniques, and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of highways, and / or other highway facilities; skills in using construction measuring tools, equipment, and / or instruments; and the ability to prioritize, plan, organize, coordinate, report, and properly complete work assignments.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or certificate of high school equivalency, one year of infrastructure construction or maintenance experience, and a Class E driver's license. This position requires a valid Class E driver license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with the Department's Driver's Record Requirements Policy.
