POSITION DETAILS

ReNEW School seeks a Literacy Instructional Coach for grades 6-8. We seek an experienced, dynamic leader who can coach and develop teachers, create and maintain systems and structures, and lead school culture. The ideal Instructional Coach will lead a team to build a solid foundation for the school’s academic program by providing students with educational activities and experiences that will enable them to fulfill ReNEW Schools’ mission.  Extensive Literacy experience required. Louisiana Guidebooks and i-Ready coaching are preferred.

This position is for ReNEW Moton Lakefront, staff hours are 7 : 00am-3 : 30 PM

You will coach teachers effectively and improve their performance through clear coaching visions, effective debriefs, and school-based solid professional development.

By anticipating stakeholder needs, we can make necessary systemic changes that are aligned with school priorities and mission.

Use data all day, every day. You and your teachers will assess qualitative and quantitative student data to draw insightful conclusions and adjust instruction as necessary.

Create a positive student and staff culture. You will work with the leadership team to build a school environment that reflects high expectations and a positive learning environment and ensure all stakeholders are clear on these expectations and held accountable.
