Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech and Language Therapist is needed to provide maternity leave coverage for May and June at an early childhood school in Newark, NJ. This contract role supports students primarily in grades Pre-K through 3 in both general education and pull-out resource room settings. The therapist will deliver individual and group therapy sessions, as well as consult with educators to promote communication development.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students individually and in groups
  • Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support communication goals in various classroom settings
  • Participate in team meetings and progress monitoring
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies

Qualifications :

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Licensure or certification as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with early childhood populations (PK-3 preferred)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques for diverse learning environments
  • Location : Newark, New Jersey

    Contract Duration : May through June (Maternity leave coverage)
