Secret Logistics Support Specialist

SRC is continuing and expanding their support of the Navy's Network Security Integrated Product Team (NS IPT) program. The purpose of the Navy Network Security Integrated Product (NS IPT) program is to augment CND capabilities and integrate them into the unique environments encountered by Navy forces. Navy CND is an integral part of the cyber defense posture, protecting the Navy's component of the Global Information Grid (GIG) from exploitation and strongly linking to critical infrastructure protection. Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic requires resources to support the Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) and Integration activities for the Information Technology for the 21st Century (IT-21), and OCONUS Navy Enterprise Network (ONENET) networks, to enhance network and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities :

• Acting as a member of the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) team
• Developing and maintaining program specific logistics technical documentation, such as : Logistics Schedules, Action Item Tracking Sheets, Program Briefs & Presentations, Naval Messages, Logistics Support Plans & Schedules, Technical Manuals, Training Materials, ILS Certification Sheets, Configuration Work Files, Installation Planning Documents, Provisioning Lists, MRCs, and nomenclature
• Supporting logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating and evaluating the logistical actions required to support to NS IPT
• Providing support within the Navy's current logistics data systems that includes CM, provisioning, readiness modeling and technical data management within the MBPS Tool
• Utilizing the U.S. Navy's Model-Based Product Support (MBPS) system to develop and update COP files to list every piece of equipment and quantities at each project site
• Creating automated actions that alert appropriate parties to changes in data, timelines, or any other matrix pertaining to the program involved.
• Developing items for the ILS package deliverables for FRCB or ILS certification
