We are looking for an experienced Insurance Paralegal to join our team in WPB, Florida. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in commercial insurance and property administration, who is detail-oriented and excels in managing multiple priorities. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, managing claims, Certificate of Insurances and supporting risk management initiatives. MUST have Commercial Real Estate, Certificate of Insurance experience. This position can allow a flexible schedule after 6months. $60-70K plus bonus. Responsibilities :
- Monitor and track insurance certificate expirations for tenants, properties, and vendors using the company database.
- Collaborate with property managers and lease administrators to obtain and update Certificates of Insurance.
- Review and update insurance policies to ensure accuracy and efficiency for claim filings.
- Ensure compliance of all insurance certificates with applicable statutes and regulations.
- File insurance-related paperwork, including claims and other documents, as required by the insurance director.
- Coordinate claims litigation timelines between carriers and legal counsel, both internally and externally.
- Communicate claims and certificate updates through written and electronic correspondence.
- Submit claims to carriers and prepare supporting exhibits and responses as needed.
- Develop and implement risk management protocols and ensure Certificates of Insurance align with lease and contract requirements.
- Prepare Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreements for vendors and contractors.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate, insurance, or property management settings.
- Strong understanding of commercial lease insurance language and terms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and Word; experience with Yardi or other property management platforms is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and personalities with professionalism.
- Experience managing multi-state insurance claims is a plus.
- Familiarity with discovery, civil litigation, trial preparation, and case management software.
