Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing – Healthcare Jobs

Facility Setting : Level 1 Trauma Center, Operating Room

Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM

Hours per Week : 36

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

On Call : No on-call required

Holiday Coverage : Must work 1 summer and 1 fall / winter holiday; if off, must work the day before or after. Includes evening, day, winter, and spring hallmark shifts.

Hourly Pay Rate : $97.65

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2,200 - $2,360

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of Level 1 Trauma Operating Room nursing experience

Active New Jersey RN license (required)

BSN degree preferred

BLS and NIHSS certifications required

Scrub and circulate experience in surgical nursing

COVID-19 vaccination with at least 1 booster

Strong attention to detail for patient safety and quality assurance

Excellent organizational skills for clinical coordination

Flexibility to meet department needs; no consecutive days or weeks of requested time off

OR RN Responsibilities

Deliver perioperative nursing care in a Level 1 Trauma Center operating room

Scrub and circulate for diverse surgical procedures

Coordinate patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams

Ensure strict compliance with safety and infection control protocols

Adapt to scheduling needs, including required holiday and hallmark shifts

Participate in quality monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives
