Location : Dallas Hybrid 3 days / week

Duration : 6+ months Contract

Compensation : $45-50 / hr.

QA Engineer (Commerce Domain Services)

Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to support our Commerce Domain Services team. This role focuses on testing backend microservices that enable core eCommerce functionalities by integrating with downstream applications and internal systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in functional and automation testing, along with a deep understanding of API integration within eCommerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform functional manual testing and UI / API integration testing across commerce backend services
• Develop and execute automated test cases using Selenium, Playwright, or similar Java-based frameworks
• Validate API endpoints using Postman and Rest Assured for functional and regression testing
• Utilize Mockito or similar mocking frameworks to simulate service interactions
• Conduct integration testing across microservices, queues, notification services, batch file interfaces (EDI), and cloud-based components (e.g., AWS Lambda)
• Ensure quality and performance of backend services used to power downstream eCommerce applications
• Work closely with product and development teams to align testing with business requirements
• Leverage JIRA Test Management tools to track test cases, execution, and defects
