The Role

A+E Global Media seeks a temporary Visuals Editor to elevate storytelling across its websites with imagery and visual flair. In this hands‑on, hybrid role, you’ll lead photo research, apply light visual treatments, and create simple graphics that support editorial features, primarily for editorial sections of History.com and AETV.com. You’ll maintain visual consistency while working cross‑functionally — partnering with editors, site designers, short‑form video teams, and marketing leads — to help shape how we visually engage with audiences. In time this person may also manage an assistant editor.

• Research, source, and license photography that brings editorial stories to life
• Apply light visual treatments that enhance storytelling while upholding ethical standards
• Create simple graphics and visuals to make stories more shareable and engaging
• Ensure imagery reflects a wide diversity of people and experiences, avoiding stereotypes or myths
• Maintain and catalog visual asset libraries with proper metadata and version control
• Manage licensing, usage rights, and clearance for imagery, assisting with vendor contracts

Contract Hourly Pay Rate : $49.95
