Cardiothoracic Surgeon Opening - Mason City, Iowa Position Details :

• Full-time, permanent position
• New grads welcome to apply
• FLSA Status : Exempt
• Current group : 1 physician and 3 PAs. Current physician would provide mentorship to the incoming physician for 1-2 years before retiring
• Current physician would provide mentorship for 3 years before retiring
• Mix inpatient / outpatient
• Call : 1 : 2, until mentoring physician retires, then 1 person will be on call.
• Competitive salary + Call

• 14-county referral base with 250,000 population draw area.
• Local hospital has physician staffed ED & hospitalist services.
