Primary Duties And Responsibilities :

Shift Hours : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm EST

• Meet deadlines for local pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance in uniform.
• Keep vehicles clean and supplies organized.
• Follow special pickup and delivery instructions.
• Tender and recover shipments from the airports.
• Comply with cold chain management instructions.
• Maintain a daily vehicle log and work manifest.
• Obtain shipment damage reports when necessary.
• Remain in constant communication with the Dispatch department.
• Demonstrate the ability to load / unload cargo, secure loads, and obey traffic rules.
• Be willing to travel to any and all sites.
• Follow COVID-19 protocols for both World Courier and its clients.
• Be available for overtime, as some driving distances may exceed a typical 8-hour workday.
• Ability to lift, lower, and slide packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
